Is this thing on?
I started demi & brut to celebrate my new found love for champagne. And while I still love champagne and other sparkly delights, I want to be more mindful about my consumption. Scaling back my consumption means I’m going to scale back the frequency of the newsletter. Instead of weekly, it’ll be monthly.
In 2018, I gave up chicken and have successfully made the transition to pescatarian life (major for me because fried chicken wings are ALWAYS calling my name!). This year, I intend to move towards drinking one day per month. And on that one day, I am going to indulge in the most delicious champagne I can find and then come here and report all about it and other yummy bubbly happenings.
But for now, let’s talk prosecco because I’ve been passionately pursuing it since October and I have a few I’d like to share!
Sip on This
Ok, so keep in mind I just became a prosecco girl in October so I’ve only had a few. So far, these two are my favorites:
I tried this for the first time in November. I served it to my husband with his birthday dinner. Since then, I’ve had about *redacted* bottles floating around the house. I let friends and family try it, and they love it, too. One of my best friends, who doesn’t even drink, went and bought a bottle after she tasted it at my house. My aunt loved it so much that she made a whole Facebook post thanking me for introducing her to it. It’s really that good! If you’re attending a bridal shower soon, pick up this cute little celebration pack of 12 minis as a gift for the bride because every bride needs something blue.
Ok, before I even tried this, I loved it. I’m a sucker for pretty packaging. The bottle is gorgeous. Picture it on the table at your spring event. Maybe you’re hosting a book club at your house, a Bedroom Kandi party (owww owww owww) or some other fun event that calls for bubbly. I cracked it open, and wow, it’s so refreshingly amazing. Even my brother, a D’usse lover, was impressed. In fact, he drank most of my bottle. Thanks, Gucci Belt.
Very Very Honorable Mention
And all of these are available for under $15!
Clink. Clink.
Glasses raised to all of the people involved with the six-part Surviving R. Kelly documentary that aired on Lifetime over the weekend. And cheers to everyone involved in the release of Cyntoia Brown. Lastly, raising a glass high to Senator Kamala Harris because this was amazing.
Sip to This
And while I’m talking playlist, check our my Yoga Soul. playlist filled with the sweet sounds I like to move to when I mess up yoga poses.
